The Bratina is a ceremonial vessel that passes around the circle of
attendees at gatherings of sacred rites and celebrations in both
Rodnovery and Odinism. The Bratina is received in both hands, with a
slight bow, and held to the heavens, then lowered and a small part of
its contents are poured onto the ground, offering a sacrifice to the
Gods. Bratina are also placed at shrines or altars to the Gods.
The Slavic folk song, Братина (Bratina),
by Nikolai Emelin (Николай Емелин).
From his 2007 album, ЗавеД (Head).
